TPH 101: Helping Patients Recover

TPH 101 is a humanized monoclonal antibody designed to neutralize a key enzyme Staphylococcus (staph) bacteria use to adhere to, replicate on and colonize surfaces of medical implants.  Given by injection, TPH 101 is a development product intended to provide patients with prophylaxis against staph infection during a period when they are most vulnerable to reinfection – during and immediately after joint revision surgery, and is intended to prevent the recurrence of infection in patients receiving revision surgery to correct an infection in an implanted artificial hip or knee.

Designed to be used with current standard-of-care antibiotics, TPH 101 has been developed to enhance prophylaxis against infection in parallel with current treatment protocols used to prevent re-infection during septic revision surgery.
